Collectibles strong auction attraction

Antique and retro furniture, collectibles, paintings, decorative furnishings and jewellery will be among strong attractions at E.J. Ainger’s forthcoming weekly sale from 9.30am Tuesday August 26 at 433 Bridge Road, Richmond.

The items have been removed from homes and estates in Malvern, Toorak and Hawthorn or are part of a container load from England.

Buyers looking for exotic and decorative English, European and Egyptian items could do worse than checking out E.J. Ainger’s latest weekly sale from 9.30am Tuesday August 19 at 433 Bridge Road, Richmond.

The pieces are part of estate furnishings from Melbourne homes and include oriental furniture and huge consignments of collectibles and items bound to interest auction goers.

Among the more unusual items is a clock holder by Panther of Birmingham, a pewter art deco service by important French pewter maker E. Chanal and a Bakelite shaving brush and soap.
