Something for everyone at toys, cameras, posters and rugs auctions

Toys, cameras, posters and rugs going under the hammer should bring in a range of collectors and auction goers from noon Thursday October 8 at Leonard Joel 333 Malvern Road South Yarra.

The toys include Dinky car and truck models from various periods along with Corgi examples, Triang and Japanese tinplates. 

Hornby O gauge engines and carriages are another feature while among the cameras is a 1950s Flexora twin lens reflex, Zeiss Ikon Compurrapid with Tessar F/3.5 lens, various Leica models and Devry 35mm clockwork line camera with case.

Among the posters are several advertising Mad Max and Mad Max II and three Australian Daybill Film posters including Phar Lap (1983), We of the Never Never (1982) and Fatty Finn (1980).

The specialist rug auction at 2pm features a Persian patchwork example, a superfine Loribaft Qum design and a superfine Naien.
