A rare 19th century marble sculpture is one of the appealing items for auction goers at Christian McCann Auctions forthcoming sale from noon Sunday August 21 at 426 Burnley Street, Richmond.

Signed antique bronze figures and figure groups are among other sculptured attractions – along with a solid selection of antique Chinese and Japanese carved ivory figures.

Porcelain collectors will be impressed at the exceptional collection of ormolu mounted Sevres vases and for those auction goers interested in timepieces there is a good range of fine French and English clocks and clock sets including carriage and bracket clocks.

Among the furniture on offer are fine antique French 19th century pieces, including ormolu mounted boulle, and Chinese carved furniture.

Chinese porcelain is in abundance along with Chinese seals and jade and a Chinese three-panel screen.

The auction also features rare Swiss music boxes, two important robes with gold thread, cut crystal and ormolu chandeliers and art works by Australian artists Andris Janson, J.A. Turner, Pro Hart and Sidney Nolan.
