Three rare and unusual American guitars should bring collectors running to Kim’s Auctions forthcoming sale from 11am Sunday September 2 at 327-329 Warrigal Road, Burwood.

All are owned by the one vendor. One of the guitars is a rare 1978 limited edition specimen by Adamas Ovation, while the other two are a Jazz Bass (Bass Fender) and 1988 Rickenbacker.

The auction contains several other strong attractions including an 1860s council hall table mirror and a single owner collection of more than 100 Sevres and Mason porcelain vases, dishes and other items.

Eighteenth century pieces are prominent including a rare gilt and ormolu clock in working order and several European paintings from the one owner.

An 18th century black lacquered two-door Chinese cabinet is another feature bound to interest buyers and collectors will be excited about more than 20 Chinese scrolls over 100 years old.

A Tang Dynasty camel with mounted official comes complete with thermoluminescence laboratory authenticity report.

Other highlights include Czech chandeliers and lights.
