Leonard Joel auctions cover a wide range of subjects - all on the one day

This week is a busy time for Leonard Joel with seven auctions on Thursday November 13, beginning with Vintage Interiors – Furniture and Aboriginal art at 10am, at 333 Malvern Road, South Yarra.

Other auctions to feature on the day include Vintage Interiors – Jewellery and Luxury (10.30am), Australiana and the Pacific (10.30am), Specialist Print (11.30am), Vintage Interiors – Books & Objects (12pm) and Modern Design & a rare Emilio Pucci collection (6.30pm).

Highlights of the Aboriginal sale include paintings by Ronnie Tjampitjinpa, Jack Britten, Billy Stockman Tjapaltjarri and Judy Napangardi.

Among the modern design creations is a Brazilian Oscar Niemeyer chaise manufactured by Tendo Brazilia and a Japanese starburst wall clock.

The vintage jewellery includes a tanzanite and diamond cluster ring of marquise shape set in 22-carat yellow gold.

Australiana and the Pacific features Kauri Gum Maori busts and a large Merric Boyd jug with branch handle and gumnuts, while the specialist print auction has works by well-known Australian artists Charles Blackman and John Brack.
