Handbags and accessories a great auction purchase

This is an excellent chance for female auction goers to purchase the English, American or Parisian handbag or accessory of their dreams when E.J. Ainger’s starts its next weekly sale from 9.30am Tuesday July 28 at 433 Bridge Road, Richmond.

Brought from a Brighton estate, the bags and accessories are by manufacturers Pierre Cardin, Chanel, Oroton, Gucci and Salvatore Ferragamo.

The auction also features the entire contents of a 40-foot container that has been in storage for many years.

Included is a range of retro dining room and occasional furniture – along with a Regency gilt mirror and Regency-style dining room furniture, French farmhouse tables and dining room tables and sideboards.

Luxurious lounge settees and fabric and leather sofas are another attraction.

English period and 1920s occasional and library furniture is on offer and auction goers also should be interested in the range of quality Persian rugs and old wrought iron gates.

Collectors might find a collection of topical photographs interesting and should check out the range of paintings, prints, jewellery and collectables.

This is Ainger’s last weekly auction before its August 15-16 special sale. Weekly sales resume on Tuesday August 25.
