A large French oak hallstand is one of several antique furniture items bound to appeal auction goers at E.J. Ainger’s forthcoming auction from 9.30am Tuesday October 4 at 433 Bridge Road, Richmond.

The auction includes the residual contents from estates in Glen Iris, Surrey Hills, Malvern East, Brighton and Kew.

Other antique furniture includes Victorian, Edwardian, 1920s and Australian cedar.

Of particular appeal could be a Chippendale style dining room suite, retro teak items and a pair of brand new leather settees.

For those auction goers looking for outdoor items, the auction features iron gates and wire garden stands.

The sale also contains Moorcroft pottery, decorative mirrors, Persian rugs, paintings and other collectables.
