A 4.30-carat solitaire diamond ring with a $25,000-$35,000 catalogue estimate – one of the highlights of the Jannece Tapsall collection – will be auctioned from 6pm Monday August 28 at Mossgreen 926-930 High Street, Armadale.

While her jewellery is part of a live Fine Jewels & Watches auction, the auction house is offering the remainder of her collection online – with the sale finishing at 5am on Friday August 25.

Other items from the Tapsall collection include a gold and diamond necklace with alternate white and gold domed oval links and an opal and diamond pendent necklet from Anson on the Gold Coast, complete with gemmologist report.

A topaz, amethyst, sapphire and diamond suite – comprising pendant and matching earrings – should attract plenty of attention, while a pair of emerald, diamond, ruby, sapphire and citrine earrings (also with gemmologist report) is well worth viewing.

Another highlight is a sapphire and diamond bracelet mounted with invisibly set pink and yellow sapphire flower heads, each with diamond cluster centres, and a pair of diamond and emerald snowflake pendant earrings.

Unusual is a square Japanese Satsuma brooch from the Meiji period (1848-1912) with hand painted images of three Geisha girls.
