Jewellery buffs will be able to select from a wide range of rings, necklaces, earrings, pendants and bracelets when Philips Auctions holds its forthcoming jewellery auction from 6pm Monday March 30 at 47 Glenferrie Road, Malvern.

Estimates for the jewellery on offer range from a few hundred dollars to tens of thousands depending on the items involved.

At the top end is a large pair of square diamond cluster earrings, a large sapphire (weighing four carats) and diamond cluster ring, an 11-carat tanzanite and diamond dress ring and a three stone old cut diamond ring with a central cushion cut 0.87-carat stone.

A pair of ruby and diamond cluster studs is another interesting item bound to attract plenty of buyer attention.

More affordable are many of the pendants and bracelets on offer, along with a tanzanite and diamond 18-carat white gold ring estimated at $600-$800.

Unusual is a gold 1/10 krugerrand coin signet ring and sapphire and princess cut diamond band ring, while a Breitling Blackbird men’s wristwatch (estimate $2500-$3500) could make the perfect jewellery accessory.
