A range of antiques, art, fine china and vintage clothing should entice auction goers to auctioneer Steve Graham’s forthcoming sale from 10am Sunday September 13 at 64 Urquhart Street, Woodend.

The auction features several unusual items including a mid-1800s timber book press and a Wolf collapsible dressmakers form.

Buyers will be able to choose from a range of antique mirrored sideboards, parlour suites, cedar chests, display cabinets, bookcases and provincial dining table and chairs.

Of note is a Cheval mirror, partner’s desk, davenport, auto trolley, and Lloyd loom.

There are several parlour lamps and epergnes and a selection of mantel and bracket clocks.

Among the fine china are examples of Royal Worcester, Royal Doulton, Moorcroft, Royal Albert, Carlton Ware and Royal Winton (including an all over floral pattern).

Art works include paintings by Australian artists such as W.H. Short, J.A. Turner, Brett Whiteley, Greg Irvine, Leon Hanson, Pro Hart, Max Mannix and Bill Bevan.
