Aingers holds auction after months of coronavirus lockdown
E.J. Ainger Pty Ltd has enthusiastically joined the ranks of Melbourne auction houses gratefully opening up after months of COVID-19 Stage 4 lockdown with a two-day online auction from 9am Monday November 9 and Tuesday November 10.
Although Aingers expects most auction goers to lodge absentee bids or bid over the phone or online, some will be permitted to attend the sale live in accordance with current Victorian Government restrictions.
Viewing is from 10am-4pm Friday and Saturday with visitor names recorded and mask wearing mandatory.

Two important collections are among offerings at Melbourne-based Gibson’s Auctions forthcoming Australian, Maritime & Exploration online sale from 11am Sunday November 8 at 885-889 High Street, Armadale.
One is from keen maritime and nautical collector the late Bob Munro, who owned several CBD properties, and the other belongs to antiquarian bookseller Kay Craddock.
Bob’s auction collection is a reflection of his lifelong interest in antiques, maritime watercolours and oil paintings, ship model and beautiful objects.

Jewellery and other collectables belonging to the late Tony White – Sydney architect turned jeweller – will be auctioned from 2pm Sunday October 11 by Bonhams at 36-40 Queen Street, Woollahra New South Wales.
White trained formally in architecture and graduated in 1965 from Sydney University before practising his craft for five years in Sydney and Melbourne.
During this period he became interested in jewellery and, although having no formal training, began working full-time from 1971 as a jeweller.
