Jewellery was the strong suit in Amanda Addams Auctions July sale with the highlight a pair of 18-carat white gold and diamond stud earrings that sold for $10,500.
Another strong return was the handmade 18-carat white gold tanzanite and diamond ring – knocked down for $5500 – while a white gold aquamarine and diamond ring changed hands for $3000, and a diamond Rubilite pendant for $2800.
At the same time, an Omega Seamaster gents wristwatch fetched a healthy $1400.
Kenneth Jack’s painting entitled Katherine Gorge was knocked down for $2800, while an antique gilt bronze Tibetan Lama sold for $2000 and sterling silver amorial crested lidded vegetable tureen, dated London 1811-12 by William Burwash & Richard Sibley, for $1100.
