Modern Design to suit wide range of auction tastes

A range of modern furniture and collectables is among Leonard Joel’s latest Modern Design auction from 6.30pm Thursday April 6 at 333 Malvern Road, South Yarra.

Among the highlights is a pair of Arne Jacobsen swan chairs for Fritz Hansen and an Italian ceiling light attributed to Arredoluce.

Of further interest to auction goers is a Jardan sectional storage unit, a mid-20^th century Danish leather sofa and a cowhide chaise in the style of Le Corbusher.

Some of the more unusual items include a Verner Panton flowerpot desk lamp and two Murano glass baskets in the style of Archimede Seguso.

The auction also contains Seca sectional candleholders, a Mobel pair of leather armchairs and a mid-20^th century sideboard by Nathan.
