GraysOnline goes global

Equipment owners, contractors and dealers worldwide can now target thousands of potential customers in the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia and Australasia through the recent launch of Grays eCommerce Group online auction service www.graysmideastplant.com

This unique plant and equipment online marketplace was created last month by joining Australasia’s largest online auctioneer GraysOnline with experienced regional partners Glen Day and Ali Odeh, who together have 50 years of experience in plant and equipment marketing in the Middle East and Africa.

Continental Plant & Equipment founder and director, Day has become one of the most recognised suppliers of used heavy construction and earthmoving equipment.

Based in Saudi Arabia, industrial auctions area manager Odeh has extensive knowledge of the regional plant and equipment market.

GraysOnline brings significant assets to the partnership including a customer database numbering more than two million, thousands of vendors who rely on the company for comprehensive auction solutions through its flagship website www.graysonline.com and a sophisticated online auction platform facilitating thousands of sales each day.

Able to draw on GraysOnline network and the experience of its regional partners, the new Grays Mideast Plant is set to become a reliable, extensive and valuable online marketplace of plant and equipment listings in the Middle East and Africa, and will feature local and global auctions.

Through a transparent and user-friendly auction process buyers can research equipment for sale, arrange inspections, bid directly and complete purchases online.

Conversely, sellers can tap into a vast and highly targeted powerful buyer audience by leveraging GraysOnline established industry presence, which last year sold $483 million in mining, civil and construction, and transport and general commercial assets.

The first Grays Mideast Plant online sale, which closed on May 3, featured a broad range of earthmoving and construction equipment in several locations throughout the Middle East.
