Strong furniture selection at auction

Buffets and secretaire desks are among a strong selection of Georgian, Regency, Victorian and Edwardian furniture to be auctioned from 9.30am Tuesday May 16 at E.J. Ainger 433 Bridge Road, Richmond.

The auction contains several mahogany, oak and country refectory and formal dining tables and chairs, an excellent range of burr walnut including card tables and chairs, oriental furniture and several lounge suites.

A large cast iron tiered garden fountain is a major drawcard along with modern floor carpets and rugs and Australian and overseas oil paintings, watercolours and graphics.

Among the more than 150 collectables is porcelain, coloured glass, crystal and sterling silver.
