A Royal Worcester exhibition vase by John Stinton and a pair of Royal Worcester ewers by Johnson are major highlights of Christian McCann Auctions latest sale from noon Sunday at 426 Burnley Street, Richmond.

The auction also contains French Boulle furniture, including salon cabinets and tables, and Victorian mahogany and walnut furniture from a home in Fairy Street, Ivanhoe.

The Ivanhoe collection includes extension dining table, desks, display cabinets, bookcases and credenzas.

Ormolu mounted French furniture includes a nice bureau plat, commodes, vitrines and mirrors.

Eighteenth and 19th century English and European Sevres porcelain is another feature, along with Japanese and Chinese items (jade, furniture and bronzes) from well-known eastern porcelain (and now retired) dealer Tom Kiernan.

There also is a gold plated Christofel dinner setting for 12 – for which the owner paid €43,000 in 2011 and an extensive collection of English and French clocks and clock sets.

Collectors will be interested in the Japanese Meiji period (1869-1912) ivory netsukes and okimonos, while art lovers can check out the Australian and international paintings on offer – including such well-known artists as David Boyd, Pro Hart, Ernest Buckmaster and Charles Dickens.
