It’s a ring fiesta at Young’s Auctions this week with auction goers able to choose from valuable diamond, opal and other gems when the hammer goes down for the first time from 9.30am Friday October 16 at 229 Camberwell Road, East Hawthorn.

The auction offers several unusual Japanese ivory figures, goblets and canister – and Henschke and Penfolds wines including 1990 Grange and Bins 407 and 389.

Furniture from a deceased estate is another drawcard including a pair of Moran settees, Jimmy Possum bookshelves and sideboard, and a Natuzzi coffee table and pair of leather chairs.

The Ligne Roset lounge suite (originally valued at $20,000) will be a perfect match for a younger buyer, while the black Yamaha upright piano and electric massage chair are other strong attractions.
