Porcelain range for auction goers

Estate, retro and English antique furnishings are among E.J. Ainger’s next weekly sale items from 9.30am Tuesday September 23 at 433 Bridge Road, Richmond.

The auction contains a strong selection of collectibles, along with Persian rugs and other items of interest from Toorak, South Yarra, Hawthorn, Kew and Hidden Valley homes.

A large range of porcelain is among the auction items including three Japanese Satsuma vases, a Continental china tureen and three china jugs, a Royal Doulton plaque, square dish and bowl, Carlton Ware leaf dishes and a Crown Staffordshire flower porcelain basket with moulded flowers.

Chinese items include a pair of vases, jade carvings and soapstone ornaments. One item bound to attract attention is a Bing & Grondahl bowl and figure model of a child.
