A range of modern design and special interior home items will be the highlight of Leonard Joel’s auction from noon tomorrow at 12 Smith Street, Collingwood.

The company is increasingly using this space as an auction venue following successful sales in cooperation with well-known Australian artist David Bromley where items can be arranged to maximum effect to interest auction goers.

The auction features various design and creations by designers and sculptors such as Luciano Vistosi’s (1931-2010) 1975 egg-shaped floor lamp and Poul Henningsen’s (1894-1967) Kontrast pendant light manufactured by Louis Poulsen in 1958.

Other items of interest include Clement Meadmore’s (1929-2005) nest of three tables, a design introduced in 1959, and Grant Featherston’s (1922-1995) Expo Mark 2 sound chair.
