Modern design auction to intrigue buyers

Furniture, lamps, chandeliers and other collectables are among the highlights of Leonard Joel’s latest Modern Design auction from 6.30pm Thursday July 27 at 333 Malvern Road, South Yarra.
Among the more interesting items is a Castiglioni Snoopy lamp for Flos and a Toshiyuki Kita island armchair for Moroso.
An intriguing design feature is the Peter Mali Zyklus chair while two
Dori cylindrical ceiling lights should attract plenty of attention.
Desimone settings of fish platters, bowls oval plates and mugs are other attractions along with a Paolo Pinifarina ego chair for Poltrona Frau.
Other highlights include an Australian four-door sideboard, a Betty McLaren lion, an Antonio Da Ross Murano vessel for Cenedese and a Fujimori Memphis style porcelain collection for Kato.
