Lladro figure to bring crowds to Aingers auction

A Lladro figure of a girl beside a drawing room chair should be a major drawcard for E.J Ainger Pty Ltd’s next auction from 9.30am on Tuesday at 433 Bridge Road, Richmond.

The sale features a large number of estate furnishings and includes English retro teak furniture along with Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian and 1920s furniture items.

Of particular note is a Scottish flame mahogany chest of drawers and bow end walnut display cabinet.

The auction also contains a pair of French spelter musicians, three French Louis XV-style fire fenders and a rocking horse.

Other items include a Bang & Olufsen stereo system, genuine Persian carpets, gilt mirrors, brass and copper, English and continental ceramics, glass, silver plate, paintings and graphics.
