Furniture and porcelain big attractions for Woodlands auction

French and retro furniture, Moorcroft, Royal Doulton and Royal Worcester are among highlights for Woodlands Auctions final sale for the year from 10.30am Sunday at 16 Grubb Road, Ocean Grove.
The furniture includes a large 19th century plan chest and French oak hallstand, along with a Geo bureau and other bookcases, sideboards, dumb waiters, display cabinets and French and English wardrobes.
The auction also contains 19th century long case clocks, wine tables, chiffoniers, pedestal desk, draw leaf dining tables, cedar chests and French and Venetian chandeliers.
Among the porcelain are Royal Doulton figures, series ware and scent bottles, while the auction also features 19th century Staffordshire figures, large Amphora and Royal Dux figures, Royal Crown Derby and miniature portraits.
Other items include Bakelite radios, Beswick animals, sterling silver, Lalique, oriental china including Satsuma vases, glass domes, kerosene lamps, cigarette cards and Corgi and Dinky toys.
