Furniture and model steamship among auction highlights

Chinese, French, English, Egyptian and Australian antique furniture will be a highlight of E.J. Ainger’s latest weekly sale from 9.30am Tuesday July 29 at 433 Bridge Road, Richmond.

Of particular interest to collectors is a superb model steamship “The Waverley”, while auction goers will be interested in the Egyptian iron furniture and a Bluthner ebonised cased boudoir grand piano.

Other items to attract auction goers include four tall, modern upright display cabinets and a Dudley Drew floral oil painting along with works by other Australian artists.

Also up for grabs are French dolls, a Moorcroft vase among a range of porcelain items, a collection of lead soldiers and silver, crystal, genuine Persian rugs, ceiling lanterns and gilded mirrors.
