Favourite Dinky toys an auction feature

Dinky toys – the favourite of many children during the 20^th century – will be auctioned from 9.30am Friday September 11 at Young’s Auctions 229 Camberwell Road, East Hawthorn.

The auction features a large collection of opals from Coober Pedy and Lightning Ridge (perfect for Christmas presents) and several substantial diamond rings.

Sterling silver is another feature along with a large pair of cast iron urns 1.6 metres tall, which has proved highly popular so far with auction goers.

Among the modern furniture on offer are items from Coco Republic, a Grange dining setting, parquetry top dining setting and Huon pine table and chairs.
