Ephemera to entice all auction comers

For those auction goers into old Biggles books, 1930s and 1940s advertising and other ephemera like a Fletcher Jones coat hangar, a Mummy Puff Pastry calico flour bag and a 1980s Big M jigsaw, then Young’s Auctions 9.30am Friday July 25 auction at 229 Camberwell Road, East Hawthorn should be right up their alley.

The auction also has a wealth of other items including an antique French speltre statue and landscape paintings by artists such as Wickham Perry (whose works Young’s Auctions sells on a regular basis) and Fred Klix.

Furniture is another big drawcard with good selection of antiques, including a cedar sideboard, chiffonier and meat safe, reproduction furniture and new fabric lounge suites from a business that has downsized.
