Christmas comes early at jewellery auction

A range of quality and exciting jewellery that would make ideal Christmas presents will be on offer to buyers at Philips Auctions forthcoming jewellery sale from 6pm Monday December 8 at 47 Glenferrie Road, Malvern.

While many of the items carry estimates of several thousands of dollars, still more are estimated at only hundreds of dollars.

Typical of the jewellery on offer is a stunning art deco diamond double brooch/jabot pin handcrafted and signed by Draysons of London.

Auction goers also should be impressed by a beautiful antique three stone diamond ring estimated at $9000-$12000.

More affordable is a fine natural pearl and diamond antique brooch drop, while a striking art deco diamond and pearl bow brooch is catalogued at $3000-$4000.

A pair of 18-carat gold emerald and diamond drop earrings is another attraction along with several wristwatches including a gents Franck Muller Master Banker Havana.
