Abbeys holds online and physical auctions in same week

Abbeys Auctions September online auction starts at 7pm Wednesday September 9 and closes at 8.30pm.

The online auction features a range unclaimed parcels from Australia Post that are available only to online bidders.

Proceeds from Australian Post items will be donated to charity.

These online auctions open for viewing and bidding 10 days prior to the official commencement. Lots are closed in number order.

From 9am Friday September 11 a wide range of furniture, homewares, tools, jewellery, collectables and bric-a-brac will be offered for auction.

Massive model train collection a boon for enthusiasts

A massive collection of model trains – all as new and still in their original boxes – continues to be progressively auctioned as part of Young’s Auctions latest weekly sale from 9.30am Friday September 4 at 229 Camberwell Road, East Hawthorn.

The model trains are 10 to 30 years old and feature brand names like Atlas and Powerline. They have been kept under the vendor’s home in circumstances that ensure their excellent condition.

Like its predecessors, this sale features about 30 lots of the model trains and is number 21 in the auction series.

An assortment of cameras and gymnasium equipment are the highlights of Abbeys Auctions weekly sale from 9am Friday September 4 at 480-482a Station Street, Box Hill.

The gym equipment includes mats, dumbbells and free weights.

Abbeys Auctions is preparing for the start of its next online auction, which begins at 7pm Wednesday September 9.

Included in the sale are appliances, toys, clothes and health food products unclaimed through Australia Post.
